Translation
(14-1) There was an old woman with an old man.
(14-2) They had a hare as a child.
(14-3) They had a hare. They were always starving.
(14-4) They never caught anything in the trap.
(14-5) The old man didn't have a trap and didn't have any skis.
(14-6) Because he didn't have any skis he went to cut down a poplar tree.
(14-7) When he went away, the hare remained with his grandmother.
(14-8) It remained. Then it started sliding down from the window on the grandmother's sewing board.
(14-9) It kept sliding, the looked inside and said to the grandmother: "Grandmother, fu."
(14-10) Grandmother, I am leaving.
(14-11) I eat the willow bushes and you don't have any food."
(14-12) And it ran away.
(14-13) The old woman cried and swallowed her needle and her thimble.
(14-14) She died on the floor.
(14-15) Her husband the old man came.
(14-16) He started calling his wife: "Wife!", but there was no answer.
(14-17) There she was, lying on the floor dead.
(14-18) Then the old man brought in his skis inside.
(14-19) That hare came and looked in the window.
(14-20) "Grandfather, have you returned?"
(14-21) "I have returned.
(14-22) Hare, come. Where did you go?"
(14-23) It said: "Fu, fu, fu.
(14-24) You don't have any food.
(14-25) I eat the willow bushes and I am escaping."
